Permission to record and share
I give James Donegan permission to record my participation in the interview identified above in audio and video. If the interview has already been recorded, I authorize the use of that existing recording under the terms below.
I grant James Donegan a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, for an indefinite period, to edit, reproduce, publish, distribute, and publicly display or play my recorded participation as part of Hello, Friends and its promotion.
This includes the full episode, excerpts, clips, captions, transcripts, and quotations shared through podcast services, YouTube, websites, social media, email newsletters, and other distribution channels.
I also authorize the use of my name, voice, image, and biographical information I provide to identify me and promote the interview or podcast, including in thumbnails and promotional posts.
Editing and publication
I understand that the interview may be shortened or rearranged for clarity, length, and flow. James agrees not to edit my contributions in a way that materially misrepresents what I said or falsely implies that I endorse an unrelated product or service.
Unless James and I separately agree in writing, I do not have the right to approve the final episode or promotional materials before publication. James is not obligated to publish the interview.
Participation and payment
My participation is voluntary and unpaid unless we separately agree otherwise in writing. I understand that the episode and related content may appear on monetized or sponsored channels, and that this does not entitle me to payment.
My material and rights
I retain my rights in my preexisting work. This agreement does not transfer ownership of my music, books, photographs, or other independently created material.
Use of separate songs, recordings, images, or other creative works I supply will require separate written permission from the relevant rights holders.
Release
To the extent permitted by law, I release James Donegan and people working on his behalf from claims based on the recording and use of my name, voice, image, and interview contributions as authorized by this agreement.
This release does not cover uses outside this agreement, materially misleading edits, or claims that cannot legally be waived.
Agreement and electronic signature
I confirm that I am at least 18 years old, have read this agreement, and have authority to give these permissions.
