The Daily Flow Practice Blog is completely free to everyone. Each post includes reflections and insights, as well as video and audio content, that I think will help us move forward to our deepest practice. I say “we” because, like you, I’m just a student. The only difference is that (a) I have a website and (b) I spend a lot of time thinking about this stuff.

We started 2024 with our Mindfulness Series, exploring a new topic and the “power” it contains. Then, beginning in April 2024, we started our Deep Dive into the Eight Limbs of Yoga, as outlined by Patañjali in the Yoga Sutras.

about the shape.

When most folks (especially in the West) hear “yoga,” they imagine people twisted into pretzels, standing on their hands or so completely woo-woo that their feet never touch the ground.

I won’t lie: I know some of those folks, and most of them are pretty great … but it’s not me.

Daily Flow Yoga + Meditation is here for folks like us who want to incorporate simple, do-able mindfulness practices every day but don’t really know where to start.

There is nothing new. In every age of recorded history, people have faced ever-mounting, overwhelming troubles because — in fact — being human means facing ever-mounting, overwhelming troubles.

There is nothing wrong with us because we feel stressed or anxious or whatever. When we feel those things, it’s actually a pretty reliable signal that we’re participating in the world. So what do we do?

In this latest series, which could go on indefinitely, I consider and share my thoughts around myriad topics that I think Yoga + Meditation can help address. I hope you’ll come along and participate! I certainly can’t do it alone.
