A seasoned yoga and meditation teacher, James started Daily Flow in order for “regular” people to fit a yoga and mindfulness practice into their daily lives. A 500-hour YTT, James has nearly a thousand hours in training in numerous yoga and meditation practices. In addition, James has spent a decade in the fitness space as an instructor for Equinox in New York City.

James started his yoga journey in graduate school when he bought a DVD called Yoga for Dummies. He was hooked. Along the way, fate led him to become a teacher in other fitness modalities — from indoor cycle and running to HIIT and strength, before finally taking the leap to teaching yoga.

Now, he brings that expertise and a deep love for empowering people to their best, strongest, healthiest lives.

Amanda Katz
Strength + Running + Wellness

Amanda Katz is a full-time fitness professional. With nearly a decade of experience, Amanda’s a certified personal trainer, run coach, a group fitness instructor specializing in indoor cycling, treadmill running and total body strength at Equinox in New York City, creator of signature formats as well as a coach for the brand’s on demand app EQX+. She serves as the on set personal trainer for the New York Times and consults for fitness publications like Runner’s World and SELF Magazine. Amanda’s also a podcast host and content creator. Her philosophy is rooted in realistic, sustainable and accessible habits for everyone because becoming stronger looks different on everyone.

Jack Bauer is a New York City-based breathwork facilitator passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves through the power of conscious breathing. Through guided breathwork experiences, he creates spaces where individuals can slow down, regulate their nervous systems, release stress, and access greater clarity, presence, and self-awareness. His approach blends science-backed breathing techniques with a deeply human understanding that healing and transformation begin by coming back to the body.

Drawing from his own journey of personal growth and transformation, Jack’s work is rooted in the belief that the breath is one of our most powerful tools for navigating life’s challenges and reconnecting with what matters most.

Daily Flow provides everything except the venue and the food (although ask about great vegan catering options in New York). In addition to staffing, we can coordinate rentals yoga/pilates mats, dumbbells or just about any other equipment we can dream up together. We also offer custom, personally-designed printed materials.

Daily Flow can even provide access to an iPhone / Android app when you hire us for ongoing wellness programs.
