DailyFlow Ten-Minute Mornings : 8a Weekdays

Balance. Hips. Hamstrings.

Add to My Favorites

Practice your balance in this 10-minute morning yoga flow. We’ll start with standing side bends, then warm up with knee-to-elbow work, low lunges and half splits. From there, we’ll flow from Downward-Facing Dog into Warrior I and Standing Split on both sides, with the option to flip into Wild Thing along the way.

Card Pull

My camera had a mind of its own this morning, which turned out to be a fitting setup for our oracle card. I drew Ego, which depicts a wide-legged forward fold and reads, “Beyond ego, the self calmly endures.” I pictured the ego as a kid running around and the deeper self as the patient parent watching. When the chatter starts up, what would it feel like to acknowledge it kindly and put your attention somewhere else?
