Activate your core and wake up your whole body with this 10-minute morning yoga practice. We’ll combine focused core work with hip opening, spinal movement and breath to help you begin the day feeling steady, present and awake.
We begin with Cat and Cow before moving through Plank, Cobra and Downward-Facing Dog. Low lunges, gentle twists and upright Pigeon open the hips, followed by Boat Pose, Hollow Body holds, Bridge and breath-led leg extensions to strengthen the center. We finish with spinal twists and your choice of Legs Up the Wall or Plow Pose.
Today’s oracle card is “Self-Mastery,” depicting a variation of Dancer Pose. Its printed message is: “Directed attention generates energy, potency, and fulfillment.”
The card invites us to notice where we place our attention—and, therefore, our energy. Self-mastery isn’t a finished state but a lifelong practice. When we concentrate our focus instead of scattering it across many different things, that energy becomes more potent and purposeful.
