Waking up with stiffness in your hips or low back? Join me for 10-Minute Morning Yoga, starting on our backs with gentle movement before building into a more active flow. You don’t have to feel ready for the whole day. Let’s begin by moving, breathing and paying attention to what we need.
We’ll explore Bridge Pose, figure-four stretches, reclining twists and core engagement before moving through lizard lunges, Down Dog splits, Fallen Triangle and Warrior One. I offer a grounded-foot option in Fallen Triangle, and you’re welcome to slow down as we flow. Take what you need and leave the rest.
After about ten minutes of movement, stay for a reflection seated, standing or resting in Savasana. Today’s card is “Temperance,” depicting a seated spinal twist, with the message: “Answer the call of your soul.” I reflect on care, quiet, stillness and connection—and how we might make choices that serve those deeper needs without demanding perfection from ourselves.
