Our first Saturday Meditation in the new series is geared towards folks who might not have practiced mindfulness meditation in the past. It is also, of course, a great reminder for those of us who have been practicing for years. The most common thing people say is “I can’t meditate … my mind wanders.” Of course it does! That’s the whole point. All of our minds wander, so we just keep coming back to the breath. Eventually, the time between “wanderings” gets longer, but — for me, at lest — it’s never gone away.
